You know it really gets my goat that a lot of “whedonites” and normal TV viewers give Dollhouse such a bad review. They talk about how excited they were with the series and then when they watched it was a big let down. To them there’s no character development, it’s a contrived plot that’s poorly carried out, the dialogue sucks, and it’s just all sex and glamour. They say he peaked in the 90s and now has nothing to offer. Average viewers didn’t like the show because it was “Slow”.

To you all, I say: “screw you”

This show often gets compared to Buffy. Which I’m sorry to say, really, you think that series was superior? Because to me it seemed like the characters were annoying, kinda fluffy and didn’t have much depth. To me most of the show seemed really ‘tongue-in-cheek’ and the dialogue wasn’t really amazing. And I do recall quite a bit of sex. (Teenagers and vampires have extremely high libidos apparently)

The dialogue for the show isn’t as witty as it was in Firefly. But it’s not a bad show. It’s an interesting concept, the character despite being “blank” still are able to convey emotion to the audience and at least I’ve started to care about them. I want to know what’s going to happen to them. Yes the first few episodes started out slow. What the fuck did you expect to happen? Joss is telling a STORY. Stories are usually told a bit slowly. You have questions but you don’t bitch and just drop the book, you keep going because you know you’re being set up and lead to something.

Ah I forget people don’t read anymore. Tiny letters and using the brain to ‘Imagine’ is so strenuous. Oh wait, no that’s right they DO and CAN read they just read bullshit stories about sparkly vampires falling in love with an utterly dull teenage girl. Again, HOW was that drawn out into multiple books? Then they were turned into movies but for some reason a good show like this is getting slammed and probably canceled.

I don’t need to be spoonfed, I don’t mind waiting and watching if the material is engaging and interesting enough. Just a buncha complainers. “This didn’t has enuff splosions” “This epi suxs” Fuck you whiny bastards, go watch Twilight and your fuckin 90210 remake you whored out automatons. (and let me enjoy my show about whored out automatons.)
